Tonight, I returned to having violin lessons, and while my neck, arms and shoulders ache it is a good feeling. It only took a little time to remember the notes. On the downside, it seems my previous teacher wasn't very good. Tomorrow I have to purchase a shoulder rest (I had wondered why in all of the months of lessons the last instructor never told me to get one), a new instruction book, a tuner, and a tightening agent because my violin is sort of an el cheapo model. That I knew going in, hoping that I could learn then buy a nice one when money came along. Hopefully, that day will come sooner rather than later because I have a feeling my little pine box derby of a string box isn't going to survive my sawing at the string much longer.
All that aside, I feel human again. Lets keep that ball rolling and maybe get some exercise in tomorrow too :D
